8 Shot to Death, Including Gunman, In Missouri Rampage

In a small town in Missouri, a man went on a house-to-house shooting rampage that may have been caused by the death of his mother. They were 8 victims but 1 survived and was injured. They were found late Thursday or Early Friday in four homes in Tyrone. The man was 36 years old and was discovered in a vehicle in a neighboring county, dead of what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The names of those victims are being withheld until their relatives could be notified. All the victims were adults; the police were notified of the attacking about at 10:15 p.m. Thursday from a young woman who said she had fled to a neighbor’s home after hearing gunshots in her house.

Reflection:

               I would personally not like to become a Reflexologist because it just simply not find my interest plus I don’t like the hands on work they do.

For example if you mess up in school your first 3 years by the time you are in your last it has affected you substantially. For you to graduate it would be a huge struggle all because you did not do your work at the very moment. But if you do great in your academics you would graduate and go to college and get a great profession so it is all based on what you do now.

Reflection:

               I would really consider this job I like how you would understand government rulings better since you are in it and I would be able to manage a healthy financial future with all the knowledge you gain becoming one.

In this story a woman named Rachel found a bag of 36 thousand dollars in it on a bench at her job. She immediately contacted the police and gave the money back to its rightful owner. The bag contained an ID of a seventy six year old man who had forgotten it there. The police investigated and did confirm that it was in fact his money. Her reason to this was because in her childhood days she was taught to never to steal. She says that she is Christian and you are never to steal or lie. She felt good about her action and even though she did not receive any award for her actions she believes a higher power will reward her.

For example some people have the tendency to do what they want or feel that very moment and sometimes it is just purely wrong.                Health Information Specialist organizes and manages health information data by ensuring its quality, accuracy, accessibility, and security in both paper and electronic systems.

Education:

               Health information technicians typically need a post-secondary certificate to enter the occupation, although they may have an associate’s degree. Many employers also require professional certification.

Reflection:

               Personally I would not like to become a Health Information Specialist, the job seems very dull. The pay does not interest me either I am looking for a career that earns you big bucks.

               A REHS works to improve the quality of life and health through environmental education, consultation, and protection. Some typical program responsibilities include food protection, land use, recreational swimming areas, onsite septic systems, drinking water quality, housing, vector control, disaster sanitation, and solid, liquid, and hazardous materials management.

Salary:

About $40,000 - $90,000 per year

Education:

               You will need to have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 30 semester’s units of approved basic science courses.

Reflection:

               I would consider this job because you are actually helping out the community and does not require much labor. It is a well paying job with the benefits of helping the community. 

Kobe Bryant

               

       Born on August 25, 1978 at the height of 6’6 Kobe Bryant is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He has played his entire career for the Los Angeles Lakers. He was drafted to the NBA right out of high school because his high performance of basketball in his high school years. He is a huge achievement in NBA history. He is a five time NBA champion in which two he got finals MVP. In 2008 he won the MVP award. He is a seventeen time NBA all-star with four NBA all-star MVP. He also is a two time NBA scoring champion and is the Los Angeles Lakers all-time leading scorer. He won three gold medals for the United States and just recently passed Michael Jordan as third place of all-time scorer. His career is not over and yet to accomplish more.

                In this quote by George Washington, one can say that you are who you surround yourself with. For example if your crowd are all trouble makers and don’t do what is right you will follow their footsteps and be one as well since that is what is going on around you. But if you surround yourself with good people who always choose to do what is right, you will as well follow their behavior that is why you are who you surround yourself with. He also say its better to be alone then be with the wrong crowd and that is right because choosing what is wrong is not the way to be.  

“Presidents Day”

Presidents Day is a day to celebrate all of the United States present and past presidents for what they have contributed to the nation. The purpose of this holiday is to create three day weekends for the nation’s workers. Another purpose was to celebrate the first president of the United States birthday, George Washington which his birthday was on February 22. It was originally celebrated on the 22^nd of February but moved to the third Monday of February to give a three day weekend in the late 1960’s.  Ways to show honor and respect for Presidents day is some attend mass, stage celebrations, reenactments, and giving a a three day weekend.

                Veterinarians have a wide variety of career opportunities and deal with all types of animals. Job duties range from cleaning teeth and inspecting hooves to major surgery and animal euthanasia.

Education:

                You must need to complete a Doctor of Veterinary degree at an accredited college of veterinary school.

Reflection:

                I would not prefer to be a veterinarian because animals do no not catch my attention I would not love working with them all the time.
