Be reliable and loyal

Have the courage to do the right thing
Ex: Not cheating on a test.
2. Respect –

Treat others with respect
o
Be tolerant and accepting of differences
o
Use good manners, not bad language
o
Consider the feelings of others
o
Don’t threaten, hit or hurt anyone
o
Deal peacefully with anger, insults, and
disagreements
Ex: Considering what you say to
people to not hurt their feelings
3. Responsibility

Do what you are supposed to do

Plan ahead

Always do your best

Use self-control

Be self-disciplined

Think before you act
Ex: If you told someone you were
going to do something one specific day you do it.
4. Fairness –

Play by the rules

Be open-minded; listen to others

Don’t take advantage of others

Treat all people fairly
Ex: If you are playing a game you
play by the rules.
5. Caring

Be kind

Ex: Forgive an individual for name
calling you.
6. Citizenship

Do your share to make your school and community

in community activities such as cleaning the community
Reflection:
What I believe
about these pillars of characters is that it’s a stepping stone that leads you
to greatness. All these characteristics are characteristics of a leader. With
these you can accomplish anything. I will try my hardest to follow through
these six pillars of characteristics in order to become a great individual as
well a successful one too.
