911 Memorial
On September 11, 2001 the United States suffered a horrible tragedy. At 8:46 am a plane that was hi-jacked crashed into the north tower of the World Trade Center in New York. Later at 9:03 am a second plane collided into the south tower. Later on because of the crash the south tower collapses causes dust clouds through the city. Onto the day the north tower also collapses causing another wave of dust clouds through the city. Around 3,000 people died in the world trade center including 343 firefighters and paramedics, 23 New York City police officers, 227 civilians, 37 Port Authority police officers who were struggling to complete an evacuation of the buildings and save the office workers trapped on higher floors, and 19 hijackers. The power went out in Manhattan as well as phone lines. The people behind this were terrorist. In conclusion This was a tragic day for all of America, loved ones were lost, and so was the world trade center.
Reflection: My feelings toward this event are deep sorrow for those innocent people whose lives were lost, or the innocent people who lost their loved ones. No human being should ever experience this horrible event. It was an action of wrong that should had never occurred. I respect those whose loved ones were lost.
